The regular fee for clinical service is 145 per hour for the initial visit. Follow-up sessions are 135 per 55 min session.
NOTE: In couples therapy, an extra fee of $39 will be charged for the Gottman Connect Assessment during the first session, or if you choose, you may directly make the payment to Gottman Connect.
I accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
Self pay counseling is accepted.
For Out of Network providers, I provide invoices, or “superbills” for you after each session - which include all of the information you would need to file an insurance claim.
I meet with clients in-person as well as virtually. If utilizing insurance, please make sure to verify telehealth and in-person session benefits before scheduling your appointment. Some insurance plans offer limited benefits for telehealth services.
If you fail to cancel a scheduled appointment, I cannot use this time for another client and you will be billed for the entire cost of your missed appointment.
A fee of $80 will be charged for missed appointments or no show cancellations with less than a 24 hour notice unless due to illness or an emergency. A bill will be mailed directly to all clients who do not show up for or cancel an appointment.
Thank you for your consideration regarding this important matter.
Under the No Surprises Act (H.R. 133 – effective January 1, 2022), health care providers need to give clients or patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
-You may also start a dispute resolution process with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
-If you choose to use the dispute resolution process, you must start the dispute process within 120 calendar days (about four months) of the date on the original bill.
-There is a $25 fee to use the dispute process. If the agency reviewing your dispute agrees with you, you will have to pay the price on this GFE. If the agency disagrees with you and agrees with the health care provider or facility, you will have to pay the higher amount.
-If the service is scheduled at least three business days before the appointment date, no later than one business day after the date of scheduling;
-If the service is scheduled at least ten business days before the appointment date, no later than three business days after the date of schedule; or
-If the uninsured or self-pay client requests a GFE (without scheduling the service), no later than three business days after the date of the request. Healthcare providers must supply a new GFE within the specified timeframes if the patient reschedules the requested item or service.
